Record and
Produce your Very Own Audio Documentary!
The first week will include hands-on activities and training at
CKDU, and includes technical training, interviewing & recording
skills, digital editing, CKDU certification, guest speakers and
field trips. During week two, participants will collaborate to
produce their very own radio documentary to be aired on CKDU.
Participants will be selected by application. Space is limited-Apply today!

Since 1921, Camp Wapomeo has been introducing youth ages 7-16 to an unforgettable residential summer camp experience. Hundreds of children from NB, PEI and NS travel to Thorburn, NS where they bunk in cabins on the banks of the Sutherland’s River. In addition to Salvation Army-run camps, Scotian Glen hosts camps for the Nova Scotia Cancer Society, Nova Scotia Firefighters Burn Treatment Society, and the Nova Scotia Hemophiliac Society. Activities such as canoeing, swimming, hiking, archery, horseshoes, volleyball, soccer, baseball and basketball fill the days. Days end by the campfire with a sing-a-long and marshmallow roast. Scotian Glen makes memories for kids that last a lifetime in a safe and caring environment. |
