Cape Breton Centre For Craft & Design March Break Camps

Kids n’ Craft for ages 7-12
Daily, March 12th to March 15th, 9am to 12pm

March Break Activities at Two Rivers Wildlife Park
Canteen open everyday
Free Wagon Rides daily from 1-3pm
And of course all the animals will be happy to see you as you walk through the 1km wildlife trail, or stop down the petting zoo.
Park admission:  4 & under free, Youth/Seniors $4.50, Adults $6.50

The 12th Annual Albert Bridge Winter Carnival
Proceeds go to the Albert Bridge Community Fire Truck Fund and the Atlantic Burn Camp.
Donations of food items will also be accepted on behalf of the District 1 Food Bank at all events.
Friday March 9th – Opening Parade at 6:30pm at the fire hall.
Bring a flashlight. Hot dogs, cake and hot chocolate will follow. There will be a kids dance downstairs for children 12 years and under with music by Bobby Burke. Admission to the kids dance is a food bank donation. Munchies provided. Saturday March 10th – Pancake Breakfast at Riverside School from 8:30am to 11:30am. Admission is $5.00 per person. Tickets available from Committee Members or at the door.
– Dance will take place at the Fire Hall at 9pm, admission is a donation at the door.
Monday March 12th
– Coasting and Animal visit to Hanson’s Farm on Trout Brook Road at 12 noon.
Hot dogs and hot chocolate. Admission is a food donation.
– Bonfire will take place from 5pm to 7pm at the fire hall.
Tuesday March 12th – 2pm to 4pm Seniors Social at the Albert Bridge Fire Hall with the Inspirational Singers. Tea and sandwiches and sweets. Admission is a monetary donation at the door.

Irish Heritage Festival
Sunday March 11th to Saturday March 17th
in Dominion
Sponsored by the Shamrock Club. Events will include tarabish, cribbage, family skating, a senior’s triathlon, karaoke and more. For event details please call 849-2600

ACAP Cape Breton Day Camp
ACAP Cape Breton’s March Break Eco-Day Camp will take place from Monday March 12th to Friday March 16th from 9am to 12 noon. Space is limited and pre-registration is advised. For more information or to register please call ACAP at 561-1628.

Dominion Rink Skating Party
Monday March 12th at Dominion Rink from 5pm to 7pm.
Klutzy and characters will be there from 5:30pm to 6:30pm with treats for the kids. Free admission.

County Arena, Coxheath Free Family Skate
Tuesday March 13th from 2pm to 3:30pm

Centre 200, Sydney Free Family Skate
Friday March 16th from 2pm to 3:30pm.

YMCA Cape Breton – Sydney Location
The YMCA of Cape Breton is holding March Break activities from Monday March 12th to Friday March 16th with a fabulous week of activity and creativity. Children will enjoy games, create works of art and meet new friends. Activities will be age specific from 8:30am to 4:30pm. A single day for members is $25.00 per child and non-members $30.00. The full week (5 days) will be $100.00 for members and $125.00 for non-members. To find out more information or to registers please call the YMCA at 562-9622 extension #1.

Cape Breton Regional Libraries
Fun March Break activities will take place on McConnell Library in Sydney from Tuesday March 13th to Friday March 16th for children in grade Primary and up. For more information please call the library at 562-3161.

Town House – Glace Bay
March Break Program Monday March 12th to Friday March 16th – 8am to 4pm
Passchendaele House on Dominion St. in Glace Bay.
Cost is $80.00 per child and $65.00 for each additional child in the same family or $20.00 a day per child and $15.00 per day for each additional child in the same family.
